Lakshmi Lakshmanan is the Principal Attorney at the Law Offices of Lakshmi Lakshmanan, Ltd.  Lakshmi maintains an active practice that provides various immigration services such as employment and family-based immigration. 

 

In 2016, she was recognized as a Rising Star of the Illinois Super Lawyers in the field of Immigration and Nationality Law. Lakshmi serves on the Board of Directors of the YWCA – Evanston/Northshore, on the Human Resources Committee of the McGaw YMCA in Evanston, and is active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association – Chicago Chapter. In 2012, Lakshmi was elected to be a delegate to the Democratic National Convention.

 

Lakshmi received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana -Champaign. She resides in Evanston, Illinois with her husband and three children.
